You might as well claim every sequel to a game having the RE5 syndrome. Halo 3 was more or like the same as H2 except for the dual-wielding of weapons. This game was destined to flop for it is an Xbox 360 exclusive held back by the scums of M$ and Yoichi Wada.
Resident Evil 5 could work with RE4 graphics and the control scheme. It's not like Wii gamers care for good graphics anyway.
